Dark Moon Cacophony’s Forum Rules
1. Providing links to pornographic, explicit, racist, or otherwise objectionable websites will absolutely not be tolerated. This behavior will result in being banned from the guild website as well as the guild itself. There will be no warnings for this. Stating the link is not safe for work, or “NSFW” will not change this rule.
2. Verbal attacks on fellow members will not be tolerated. This includes game play discussion.
3. Distributing viruses or other harmful computer code will not be allowed.
4. Unless a guild member makes it public knowledge, you will not refer to them by their real name, nor reveal any personal information about any member.
5. No flaming allowed. Hateful or spiteful posts will not be tolerated. We understand that some of our guild members like to verbally beat each other and we are fine with that as long as both parties take it in jest, and it is not flame baiting.
6. No trolling. No one likes trolls unless they are Darkspears. There are no post count achievements and no special member names based on post count, so make each post mean something.
7. Please refrain from using one or two word posts, such as, “,” or “I agree.”
8. Do not bump threads without adding content. If a topic seems to be important contact Wickedraven about making the thread a sticky.
9. No spamming or overposting in the boards. The cleaner the forums stay, the easier they are to navigate.
10. Use common sense. Before you post ask yourself if what you typed would annoy you if you read it.
Most importantly:
We support lively discussion of topics. Debates are welcome as well as long as they fall within the rules above. This forum can only be as good as what the forum members put into it.
